We have heard countless stories of lives being truly transformed and spirits being lifted by the day, especially the powerful testimony of our keynote speaker, Rachelle Rawson. Many of you have expressed an interest in hearing more of her story, especially her experience in federal prison. We are pleased to report that we raised $1,720 towards our goal of $10,000 for our Choose Love School Initiative. Thank you to all of you who donated!

We still have a ways to go, so for those of you who missed the opportunity to give to this life-changing program for kids, there's still time! As we shared at the event, we need $10,000 to acquire the copyrights and trademarks needed before we can release the songs and activities to be used with the kids. Our goal is to release the program this fall, so time is of the essence.

Proceeds from this event will support Choose Love, a school initiative that role models and encourages students to assume goodness in others.

It challenges us to be accepting of one another. There is no other agenda but LOVE! It is driven by music, which is how kids learn.

A song has been written for each of the six principles, which include: Honor, Respect, Compassion, Kindness, Patience and Responsibility. The principles of Honor and Respect will be lead by Law Enforcement officers.

Each song will include creative writing, art activities, books, movement, group activities, and learning different musical styles. Animated characters have also been created for each principle. Choose Love will be piloted with Sioux City students.
