All the songs on this project were written by Jill,  and the project was completely funded by Jill's fans. The title track, “Grace Finds Wings,” was inspired by a local Sioux City nurse who shared her story with Jill. The emotionally compelling lyrics of this song describe how and where to find the courage to move beyond painful circumstances to write a new life chapter. Another song, “This Mother’s Love,” has been a fan favorite and was written for her son before he left for Marine Corps boot camp.
